Alexa Meade measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe, and bra size
The initial inspiration came from shadows reflected on grass. Months later she devised a process that didn't make the subject onto canvas in an unflat image. The object has been transformed into its own reproduction with the canvas taking on the artist's interpretation. This is especially effective for objects that are living as well as items that have a shelf life like fruits and people. Alexa Meade's paintings are ephemeral and the image remains. Photography and painting techniques are closely coordinated and result in a two-dimensional, flat area that is trompe l'oeil. Certain parts of the image such as the hair, or eyes, display the three-dimensional dimension. At times, Meade integrates her painted models with the 3-dimensional environment around them, which allows them to interact within this self-created world. This eliminates the distinctions between photography, painting, and installation.
