Alex Flanagan
She is a graduate of at the University of Arizona and Salpointe Catholic High School located in Tucson, Arizona. Flanagan is an anchor/reporter on NFL Network and NBC Sports as well as a sideline journalist to Football Night in America and the home matches that are part of Notre Dame football. Flanagan is heard and observed in the well-known games on video Madden 10 and Madden 11 in which she hosts an in-game weekly recap show with Fran Charles. Alex was raised in Sonoita Arizona. Kevin Flanagan, a former basketball player at the University of Arizona is her husband. The couple have two daughters and one son. Alex's parents own the Arizona steak restaurants "The Steak Out" (located in Sonoita) as well as Dove Mountain. Flanagan started her career in journalism at the age of 18, working as an intern at KVOA-TV. The reporter began covering sports at the age of 1998. She was a reporter as well as an anchor on NBC Sports as well as NFL Network, ESPN and Fox Sports. Additionally, she was a member of Gamma Phi Beta sorority. Flanagan's first job in TV was a reporter on weekends and general assignment reporter at KCCO-TV, Alexandria, Minnesota, after she graduated. The position she held was for a total of two years with WSFA-TV which was located in Montgomery, Alabama.
